Installation & Export Manager 

Cova Security Gates are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Installation & Export Manager to join our Field Service Team as we strive to deliver our goal of ‘Protecting People and Places’.

You will play a central role in project delivery by organising and overseeing the transport and installation of our high security products. Supplying high profile customers in locations across the world, your drive to deliver excellence will see you engage with our own installation teams, sub-contractors, partners, and clients on projects for Blue Chip businesses, Government offices and important Infrastructure Facilities right through to individual privately owned sites.

The role will involve managing the installation diary and scheduling jobs appropriately, allocating and managing installation teams to ensure they have the correct skills, information, and equipment to carry out a safe, timely and quality installation every-time.

The applicant will need to be on-hand to resolve any logistical or technical installation issues that may crop up from time-to-time and this may necessitate trips to site to ensure that every job runs smoothly from start through to handover.

The Installation & Export Manager will also be the point of contact for customers during the installation or delivery process and must make sure that they are briefed and kept up to date with information as necessary.

As part of the role, the candidate will need to liaise closely with the sales, design, production, finance, and aftercare departments to make sure that each stage of the delivery process is managed properly.

You will ideally have project coordination skills and superb admin, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Management of Installation teams to meet the demanding quality and service requirements.
  • Preparing Risk Assessments, undertaking Site Surveys and Health & Safety audits.
  • Preparation of Export Documents for customs clearance.
  • Administrative duties in accordance with the role.
  • Assists in completion of documentation in accordance with management systems.
  • Implements company requirements on policy standards and legal regulations with specific attention to quality, H&S, and environment.

To meet the requirements, you must have:

  • Experience of working within the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of installations.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience of managing people.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Up to date Health and Safety knowledge
  • SMSTS qualification, although SSSTS would be considered.
  • Hands on and practical approach.
  • Health and safety conscious - NBOSH qualification desired but not essential.
  • A professional manner and the promotion of the company image.
