You will be responsible for launching new innovations, range extensions and by developing targeted campaigns which are predominantly thought leadership pieces that help build our brand leadership via on and offline channels . This team provides inputs to many business processes in the form of sector & competitor insights and customer & market needs. We focus specifically on ensuring that our Sales and Service colleagues receive the right level of information and support, providing them with business-leading training content. The Category Marketing team is also the key facilitator of Best Practice across the group, actively sourcing and sharing good practice.

Responsibilities:

  • To significantly contribute to the Hygiene & Wellbeing Category leading the Washroom space and delivering profitable growth in line with our objectives
  • Use industry, market, customer and competitive intelligence to steer & validate the propositions and product roadmap, support in the development of new solutions business cases
  • Build and develop strong value propositions, product positioning, messaging and lead the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy that resonates with customers, tells a story, and differentiates us in the market.
  • Develop and build robust commercial models and support markets in implementing commercial strategies that increase value to Rentokil Initial in line with business objectives.
  • Own the go-to-market strategy and releases for a number of solutions, working with stakeholders on robust forecasting of solutions to execute on go-to-market plans.Deliver compelling marketing, communication materials across the new range.
  • Be hands-on, delivering both strategic and executional work and serve as the subject matter expert and spokesperson for the product/solution offering to both internal and external audience
  • Work cross functionally, globally, with the local technical and sales leads to identify, evaluate and prioritise opportunities based on addressable market (existing and new channels), revenue potential, pricing, ROI and competitive dynamics.
  • Track and measure performance of current and future solutions. Share learnings and successes for subsequent launches and campaigns.
  • Best Practice – develop relationships and business insight to enable identification of good practices that can be turned into a repeatable model for use in other countries.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of marketing experience with a business degree and/ or marketing qualification
  • A passionate business marketer, with understanding and practical experience of product and proposition development, global-scale launches and marketing levers.
  • Strong commercial skills demonstrated through delivery of marketing activities
  • Experience of all aspects of the marketing mix, including segmentation, proposition development, customer insight and profiling and product lifecycle management.
  • Strong marketing planning and implementation experience; ability to think strategically and act tactically at pace.
  • Demonstrable record of take-to-market delivery in challenging environment with challenging lead times.
  • Project Management experience and the ability to manage multiple projects and work streams simultaneously.
  • Results-oriented with a strong track record of meeting stretch goals.
  • Strong communicator who can operate and build relationships at all levels, gaining respect and credibility. Ability to motivate cross-functional teams to deliver and influence senior decision makers to gain commitment.
  • Innovative and has the ability to identify new opportunities in a crowded competitive marketplace
