The Circus Project was founded by aerialists Emma and Dave Taylor when they moved to Brighton and discovered that there weren't any facilities for circus in the city. Since launching in 1999, The Circus Project has developed into a firmly-established company attracting all sorts of people from young people to professional circus companies.A registered charity specializing in aerial circus, The Circus Project: - Runs classes and workshops for all ages throughout the year - Encourages and supports new ideas and work in contemporary circus - Has a brilliant and highly-skilled youth circus (Brighton & Hove Youth Circus) - Provides all sorts of useful resources for professional circus artists - Runs special community and outreach projects - Produces shows and cabarets - Plays an active part in the development of the sector in the UK
