As Surrey’s leading charity providing respite breaks for carers, we are proud of the work we do easing the strain on those who care for loved ones 24/7.

In 2019 alone we helped 2,049 unpaid carers by regularly lending a hand with care to 1,264 loved ones so people who care can have a break and recharge both physically and emotionally.

Our main goal is to improve the quality of life of these unpaid carers – that’s anyone who looks after a family member, relative, friend, or neighbour because of a long-term physical or mental ill health or disability.

Not only do they get to enjoy a much-needed break to do the things they love (or do nothing at all!), but they also have peace of mind knowing their loved ones are in the safe, reliable and expert hands of our Carer Support workers. All our work is regulated by the Care Quality Commission.

Together, we can help reach more Carers to make a life of their own outside of their caring role.
