CSV's vision is of a society where everyone can participate to build strong and inclusive communities. Our mission is to enable people to take an active role in their communities. Volunteering with CSV enables people of all ages and backgrounds to reap the benefits of putting something back. Our programmes help empower disabled people to lead independent lives. We offer security and stability to families and children at risk of neglect. We help young people find their direction in life and enable older people to share knowledge and experience across generations. In partnership with organisations across the UK and Europe, we help people come together to build stronger communities through better services and more fulfilling lives. We hold the secretariat of The Network of National Volunteer-Involving Agencies, connecting over fifty not-for-profit organisations, from National Trust to CRUK and RNIB. Volonteurope firmly connects us to Europe, where we help promote volunteering to millions.
