Dixeys opened in the heart of Brighton in 1838, the coronation year of Queen Victoria. Dixeys’ avant-garde approach made it a highly successful business and this winning formula has been used by Dixeys’ current owners Irene and Dirk to recreate a contemporary 21st century opticians in West Street, Horsham, West Sussex.
Having fifty years optical experience between them, with Dirk being the third generation of opticians in his family, Dixey CB is an optical boutique with continental ambience, which harbours relaxing browsing space over two stories, two fully equipped consulting rooms for sight testing and contact lens fittings as well as a comprehensive laboratory with latest glazing and lens technology.
