Eastbourne Jobs Hub

Eastbourne Jobs Hub, which launched on 25th September 2014, is located within Eastbourne Library, making it accessible to everyone in the local community. With a dedicated manager, the Eastbourne Jobs Hub is staffed and open during the library’s opening hours allowing people to visit or book an appointment at a convenient time.

The opening times are Monday to Wednesday 10am-4.30pm, Thursday 10am-6.30pm and Friday 10.30am-4.30pm.

Eastbourne Jobs Hub is a one-stop shop for people of any age who are looking for a new career, their first job, training opportunities or volunteering positions. It provides opportunities for local people to access impartial advice and skills training to enable them to succeed in work. Eastbourne Jobs Hub also offers recruitment support to local businesses such as supporting with person specifications and job descriptions, helping them with interview processes and matching their vacancies to appropriate people who are looking for employment.

As well as having people on hand to offer support and guidance, Eastbourne Jobs Hub will use the LoveEastbourneJobs.com resource centre as their on-line presence. As you can see on the left there are a wide range of resources available on the website including: information to help employers with their recruitment process, advice on training and job applications and a large number of jobs advertised by local employers.

Eastbourne Jobs Hub provides information about services and support on offer as well as local job vacancies for employers, and people looking for employment. Employers and employer organisations will be key partners in the Hub, identifying skills needs and future employment opportunities as well as providing work experience and support for training for employment. East Sussex County Council funding will be used to develop the Eastbourne Jobs Hub both with its online presence and dedicated team of advisors at the hub.
