About us
Since 2003 we have been taking good quality surplus food and providing it to people who are hungry across Sussex and Surrey.
Taking good quality surplus food, destined for waste, and getting it to people who need it the most.
We have depots in Brighton and Guildford, serving the whole of Sussex & Surrey.
We are lucky to be one of 35 Regional Centres, working as a network across the country with FareShare.
Each year we deliver food for 6.26 million meals, supporting around 28,520 people a week at risk of food poverty.
Our food is a vital lifeline for vulnerable people in our community. Children and families, people on low incomes, people who have lost their jobs, the homeless, refugees, domestic abuse survivors, the elderly and key workers all rely on our food.
Who gets food?
We work with more than 248 community organisations and charities across Sussex & Surrey.
Some organisations take canned and packaged goods, providing emergency food parcel provisions in the community, whereas others will use the food to prepare a meal which is then shared with their community alongside wraparound care such as advice and support.
