Hastings Pier Charity has the responsibility of ensuring that Hastings Pier, a Grade II Listed Structure, is restored and thereafter maintained and operated to deliver the full range of social and community goals that have driven this project from the outset. The Charity will ensure the pier can be enjoyed by many generations and, as the “People’s Pier”, will provide growth and economic development for the town of Hastings and become the model of success for the regeneration of the town’s seaside economy.
