Healys was established in 1980 by John Healy and Marios Pattihis and expanded rapidly
as real estate and commercial litigation experts in the City. Over the past 35 years, the firm has
expanded from just two equity partners to be made up of 16 partners with a complement of over
100 members of staff.
In addition to an established reputation as real estate and personal injury experts, Healys
has extended its expertise in professional negligence; commercial litigation; insurance disputes;
contentious probate; retail; franchising; leisure and gaming; and family and immigration. The firm has
attracted lawyers of the highest calibre to work with it, and aims to build relationships and become
trusted business partners to clients, being available whenever required.
The firm’s client base is a mix of corporate entities, SMEs and high-net-worth individuals. In
recent years, senior partner Marios Pattihis has led the expansion of Healys’ international practice
by establishing new international desks for India and Pakistan, China, Saudi Arabia and the MENA
region, Brazil, Nigeria, Italy, Malta, Cyprus and Greece.
