About us
Honeycroft Centre is a community-based centre that exists to provide for the needs of all children from birth to 11 and their families in an inclusive environment. It’s our vision that all families have a supportive, wraparound service that they can call upon. Since the late 1960s Honeycroft Playgroup operated from St Leonard’s Church Hall. Each year Honeycroft has grown in size, popularity and services until it has now one of the largest playgroups in Hove, Brighton and Portslade. We moved to our current location at St Barnabas Hall, in Sackville Road, Hove, in 1998 where our premises are now much larger. Our playgroup is for children aged 2 to 5 years old. In addition, we provide a crèche, breakfast club, after school club, holiday club, lunchtime pick-up service, coffee shop. We also run a volunteer service to enable people to share their skills, gain work experience and make a contribution. We also offer classes and groups from our premises. Last year, we opened a charity shop for parents, selling quality clothes and toys.
