Job Description

Mind in Croydon Ltd is an award winning Registered Charity operating in the London Borough of Croydon. Founded in 1967, with an annual income of over £1 million and around 37 staff and over 100 volunteers, we run a number of projects to help people with Mental Health problems. These include counselling, welfare benefits advice, social networking and social inclusion and employment projects.

Mind in Croydon has a brand new project, “Minding Money” which comes under our Welfare Benefits Advice Service. This exciting and innovative project will give our clients help and advice on making their money work for them. We will be providing clients with help in managing all aspects of their finances including online banking skills, how your mood might affect your spending, opening and managing bank accounts etc. The project will be up and running in the New Year based at Orchard House, 15A Purley Road, South Croydon, CR2 6EZ.

Volunteers are needed to help the Project Coordinator, Laila Joarder, to facilitate and assist with workshops and admin tasks.
