About us

Established in 1986, VEGA Technology Ltd Group began life as a regional distributor for audiovisual technology based out of Hong Kong and rapidly became a key distribution agency for international manufacturers. With a fundamental “customer-first” approach, VEGA soon added consultancy, engineering and support services to it’s technology portfolio in order to provide a comprehensive solution resource. This initiative was eagerly welcomed by customers and VEGA quickly became a leader in the design, implementation and support of converged videoconferencing and audiovisual solutions. By 1999 VEGA had further broadened its operational capabilities by establishing a state-of-the-art Technology R&D and Manufacturing Centre. VEGA Technology now provides high-quality OEM production facilities for many of the World’s leading AV technology brands. VEGA has continued to drive the adoption and usage of emerging communication technologies and has expanded its portfolio of products, services and solutions. VEGA has achieved the highest accreditations with leading technology vendors and routinely wins industry awards for its achievements in servicing customers around the globe. VEGA now has 25 established offices across 14 different countries Worldwide, with a turnover in excess of £90m with 500+ staff. VEGA Europe, was added to the Group in February 2011, to manage the Global RBS contract, for Audiovisual and Video Conferencing out of the UK. Since then VEGA Europe has grown in a focused and managed way and now employs 45 staff, with offices in Gatwick, London and Edinburgh. VEGA Europe’s core business areas are; • Audiovisual including TV services and Digital Signage. • Video Communications including Video Conferencing, Hosted/Cloud Video, Web Conferencing and Video Streaming. • Collaboration including Interactive technologies and MS Lync. • Telephony/Voice including Hosted VOIP and MS Lync enterprise Voice. • Workspace Management including occupancy studies and desk and meeting room booking. • Support Services including Break-fix Maintenance and support contracts and On-site Managed services.
