Volunteer Centre Brighton and Hove

Volunteer Centre Brighton and Hove seeks to improve the quality of life of residents of Brighton and Hove and develop opportunities for people to help others, and in the process, develop their own skills and potential through volunteering. We match potential volunteers with volunteering roles offered by non-profit organisations in the city. We promote these volunteering opportunities online using Do-It, ivo, Facebook and Twitter. Our mission is to promote best practice in volunteer management, ensure choice and opportunity for people wishing to volunteer and contribute positively towards to the community, by enabling an environment in which volunteering flourishes. We run a Volunteer Co-ordinators' Forum which has an online group on ivo. Volunteer Centre Brighton & Hove is a quality accredited member of Volunteering England.
