Account Manager
Lloyd Recruitment Services is delighted to be partnering with a well-established events business that is looking to recruit a proactive and commercially focused Account Manager to join their team.
This is a varied, client-facing role combining account management, sales support and hands-on marketing activity. Reporting into the Director of Sales, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, supporting event sales and delivering targeted marketing campaigns that drive attendance and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships
- Managing client accounts from initial enquiry through to event delivery, ensuring excellent service throughout
- Supporting sales strategy and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and generate new business
- Planning and executing marketing activity to promote events, including digital, email and social media campaigns
- Assisting with website content updates and basic website management
- Working closely with internal teams including operations and accounts to ensure smooth event delivery
- Supporting budget management and cost control for events
- Attending relevant industry events (including internationally)
- Providing support to colleagues and contributing to team objectives as required
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in account management, sales or client relationship roles
- Marketing exposure (advantageous)
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of digital marketing tools, including email marketing and social media
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with confidence working with data and performance metrics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience of working with budgets and basic financial reporting
- Quick-thinking and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
