Varndean School requires an enthusiastic, committed and outstanding Deputy Head of School (head of year equivalent) to work closely with the Head of School to lead one of our 5 small schools. This is a full time position offered for one year as maternity cover.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and committed pastoral leader to join a well established, collaborative and highly successful team. For teaching staff the post carries a TLR2c (equivalent TLR 2.1) £8,611. The support staff salary is Grade SO1/2 spinal point 23 - £34,434 - £39, 152 pro rata, actual starting salary £29,831.

Salary range
