The Ecologist will join a supportive and collaborative team, working across a varied project portfolio. The role will involve:

• Undertaking protected species and habitat surveys
  Preparing Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs) and ecological reports
  Supporting Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) assessments and UKHab surveys
  Contributing to ecological assessments and planning documentation
  Liaising with clients, stakeholders and wider project teams
  Supporting project delivery from fieldwork through to reporting

Requirements:

• Relevant ecology/environmental qualification
  Previous ecological consultancy experience
  Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
  Full right to work in the UK
  Living in or within a commutable distance of the office
  Strong written and verbal communication skills
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
