Location: Eastbourne East Sussex Shift Pattern: 4 Days On, 2 Days Off (including weekends)

Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 (Category C) Driver to support our client, a leading linen supply company. This role involves the delivery and collection of clean and used linen to hospitals and healthcare facilities across the South East, including regular deliveries into London.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking long-term, stable employment with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver clean linen to hospitals and healthcare facilities in a safe and timely manner.
- Collect used linen from customer sites and return it to the depot.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
- Load and unload linen cages and containers as required.
- Ensure all delivery paperwork and records are completed accurately.
- Provide a professional and courteous service to customers at all times.
- Adhere to all driving regulations, working time directives, and company policies.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness and security of the vehicle.
Please be aware that your role may not be limited to these tasks.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid CPC Qualification Card.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
- Comfortable driving in London and busy urban environments.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Right to work in the UK.
