
High-Performance Manager
Location: London (Office-based)
Salary: £40,000 - £60,000
A leading firm in the industry is seeking a High-Performance Manager to drive and embed a culture where excellence is the standard. This is a pivotal, hands-on role focused on setting clear expectations, equipping managers to lead with accountability, and ensuring performance is measured not only by results but also by mindset, work ethic, and behaviour.
High performers will be developed and stretched. Underperformance will be addressed directly. The aim is to build and sustain an environment where ambition, delivery, and discipline are the norm.
Key Responsibilities- Define and implement a High-Performance Framework across departments.
- Ensure all employees have clear OKRs, KPIs, and role expectations.
- Establish "What Good Looks Like" standards and performance scorecards.
- Lead structured reviews, calibrations, and recognition processes.
- Introduce gamification and peer-feedback initiatives to strengthen culture.
- Build growth plans for high-potential employees and improvement plans for underperformance.
- Coach managers and individuals to raise and maintain performance standards.
- Minimum 5 years in a performance-focused role (business, consultancy, sport, military, or similar).
- Proven experience embedding performance frameworks and delivering measurable results.
- Skilled coach with experience in individual and team development.
- Strong understanding of performance systems, OKRs, and structured feedback.
- Confident in working with and challenging senior managers.
- Resilient, pragmatic, and results-oriented with strong cultural awareness.
