KS1 Teacher - Maternity Cover - Brighton - September 2026 to July 2027

Academics Agency are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Brighton who are seeking to appoint a KS1 Teacher to cover a maternity leave from September 2026 through to July 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nurturing school environment with strong leadership, supportive staff, and enthusiastic learners.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have UK teaching experience within KS1 (essential)
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
• Be committed to delivering engaging and creative lessons
• Be a team player with excellent communication skills
• Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

The role will involve:

• Planning and delivering high-quality KS1 lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Assessing, tracking, and supporting pupil progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and leadership staff
• Contributing to wider school life and enrichment activities
