Litigation Solicitor/Legal Executive
2+ PQE Civil Litigation Bognor Regis, West Sussex
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) with at least 2 years' PQE to join a friendly, well-established and supportive law firm based in Bognor Regis, West Sussex.
This role offers the chance to manage a broad and interesting civil litigation caseload, with genuine scope to play a key role in the continued growth and development of the litigation department.
The Role
You will be responsible for running your own varied civil and commercial litigation caseload, to include:
- Contract and commercial disputes
- Contentious probate
- Neighbour and property disputes
- Professional negligence claims
- Landlord & Tenant litigation
Matters are handled across a range of forums including:
- County Court proceedings
- Tribunals
- Arbitration
- Mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR)
You will have autonomy in your role while being supported by an approachable and collaborative team.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- Minimum 2 years' PQE in civil litigation
- Experience managing files with minimal supervision
- Strong technical knowledge of civil procedure and dispute resolution
- Confident providing clear, practical and jargon-free advice to clients
- Proactive, commercially aware and keen to contribute to departmental growth
