Pay: £175 £260 per day (Dependent on Experience)

Supply Desk is seeking a knowledgeable and committed Maths Teacher to join a supportive school in Brighton. This is an exciting long-term opportunity for a teacher who can inspire students, develop their mathematical understanding and help them achieve their full potential.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Maths Teacher to plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will be responsible for developing students' mathematical knowledge, problem-solving abilities and confidence, helping them make consistent progress.

This is a full-time, long-term position starting in January 2027 and running until July 2027, offering the opportunity to build strong relationships with students and become an integral part of the school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Develop students' mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills.
• Differentiate lessons to meet varying abilities and learning needs.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Prepare students for assessments and examinations.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement.

What We're Looking For

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
• Effective classroom management and teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A positive, proactive and adaptable approach.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
