£45,000 - £55,000 per annum pro rata

Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Part Time Financial Controller to join an award-winning, growing SME business in the Hove area on a part time, permanent basis.

The are seeking a part-time Financial Controller to take ownership of the business's finances, providing strategic insight and financial leadership to support the businesses sustainable growth.

Your duties will include:

• The Financial Controller will oversee the financial management of the business
• You will work closely with the founders to support strategic decision-making and sustainable growth
• Provide monthly management accounts
• Cash-flow forecasting
• Produce profit and loss reporting
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with the production of annual statutory accounts
• Maintain the general ledger
• Monthly budgeting and financial analysis
• Project profitability review
• Liaising with the external accountant to ensure effective financial control and insight across the business

Key requirements:

• You must have proven experience of working in a similar role
• Ideally you will have a strong understanding of SME financial operations, including forecasting, cost control, and scenario planning
• Commercially aware and able to balance creative business ambitions with financial discipline
