Payroll Manager
We're recruiting for an experienced Payroll Manager to take ownership of payroll across a growing multi-entity business. This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to lead payroll operations, drive process improvements, support acquisitions and play a key role in an upcoming payroll system migration.
The Role
- Manage end-to-end payroll across multiple entities and PAYE schemes.
- Ensure full compliance with HMRC, RTI, pensions and statutory requirements.
- Lead payroll reconciliations, year-end processes and benefits administration.
- Support payroll system development and future migration projects.
- Act as the payroll SME across the business.
- Manage and develop a small payroll team.
- Support the integration of newly acquired businesses into the group payroll structure.
About You
- Proven experience managing payroll within a multi-entity environment.
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, pensions, RTI, P60s and P11Ds.
- Experience with payroll systems, process improvements and payroll projects.
- Confident working with senior stakeholders, HMRC and external providers.
- Previous team leadership experience.
- CIPP qualification or equivalent desirable.
