Private Client Fee-Earner

Join a well-established law firm known for delivering high-quality legal services since 1993. We are currently seeking an experienced Wills & Probate Fee-Earner to enhance our Private Client team. This role is ideal for someone with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE) who is skilled in managing a diverse caseload in Private Client law.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Probate and Estate Administration: Handle a range of cases from basic estates below the inheritance tax threshold to complex taxable estates requiring detailed IHT400 forms and schedules.
- Wills and LPAs: Assist clients with estate planning, including drafting Wills and preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney. Undertake Court of Protection work to ensure comprehensive client service.
- Client Interaction: Work directly with a diverse client base, including older clients and high-net-worth individuals, providing tailored legal advice and maintaining high standards of client care.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years PQE in a private client department, with a proven track record of managing your own caseload.
- Strong IT skills and proficiency in managing legal documents and processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain confidentiality.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player who is flexible and self-sufficient.
