Residential Conveyancing Solicitor
Location: Eastbourne (Other office locations available)
Job Type: Full-time (Part-time considered - minimum 4 days per week)

I am currently working with a highly respected and forward-thinking law firm that is seeking to expand its residential property team. My client, a Lexcel and Conveyancing Quality Scheme accredited legal practice, is looking to appoint a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join their Eastbourne office (or one of their other branches, if preferred).
The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled conveyancing solicitor who is confident in managing a full caseload of residential property transactions from instruction through to completion. You will be handling a range of matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
You will work closely with both clients and colleagues to ensure the delivery of a high standard of legal service. Support staff are available, and the firm offers a well-structured, professional, and friendly environment.
Key Requirements:
- Recent and demonstrable experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A client-focused approach with a personable and professional manner
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience with case management systems (desirable, but training provided if needed)
- Familiarity with key digital tools and platforms such as Land Registry portals, Government Gateway, AML search systems, and online quotation tools
