We are excited to offer an opportunity for an outstanding and energetic Functional Skills Teacher with a specialism in Maths to support our team at our school based in Brighton The ideal candidate will be able to plan and delivering Maths at both GCSE and Functional Skills level and, desirably, willing to teach additional subjects.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to Key Stage 4 pupils, preparing them for GCSE and Functional Skills assessments.
• Develop and implement individualised education plans to meet the specific needs of each pupil.
• Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports pupils' emotional and academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the overall development of pupils.
• Coordinate work experience opportunities for pupils, enhancing their employability and practical skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status QTS or QTLS
• Experience in delivering Maths at GCSE and Functional Skills level.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with staff, pupils, and parents.
• Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
• Right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
