
SEN Teacher
Integrity Education Solutions are supporting a non-maintained specialist school in West Sussex. The school looking to appoint a SEND Teacher to join its growing secondary provision from January 2026.
The setting delivers highly specialist education within an exceptional learning environment, offering extensive outdoor learning spaces, specialist sensory facilities and therapeutic resources. The provision supports children and young people with a range of needs, including speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), autistic spectrum conditions (ASC), and complex physical or neurological needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding secondary provision, working predominantly with Year 8 and Year 10 pupils, and to play a key role in shaping its continued development.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning, leading a class team, and supporting the pastoral, academic and social development of students. The role includes planning and implementing personalised education programmes, tracking progress, and leading annual reviews in collaboration with families and external professionals.
Applications are welcomed from teachers with secondary English or Maths experience, as well as those with strong primary teaching backgrounds who are confident supporting secondary-aged learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that support academic and personal development.
- Act as class tutor, building positive relationships with pupils and families.
- Lead and manage a class team to ensure consistent, high-quality provision.
- Monitor progress, set personalised targets and contribute to annual reviews.
- Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff and external agencies.
- Uphold safeguarding, wellbeing and professional standards at all times.
Key experience and qualifications
- Fully qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS)
- Experience working within an SEND school settin
- Ability to demonstrate high standards of teaching and learning within a nurturing and structured environment.
