Supports in the development of the Elekta Design System (a library of UI components with associated rules and processes); addressing defects, improving the library to be scalable, flexible and accessible with little to no support. The Elekta Design System is made up of reusable UI-components such as buttons, inputs, cards, tabs, grids, and tables, used across multiple Elekta products. Demonstrates knowledge of best practices for code development in: component composition, SPA route management, state management, and html/css styling, to help Elekta software look and operate in an efficient, clean manner. Scrum ownership for the UX Development team - including sprint planning and grooming, backlog prioritization, and facilitating monthly retrospectives. Proficient in the development of frameworks and tooling to help product teams deliver UI faster and more accurately to the specified designs. Should know Angular (web framework), JEST (unit testing), Cypress (e2e), Express (hosting), Electron (desktop development), NgRx (state management), Nx (optimized builds). Works with the wider UX & Design team to deliver strategic prototypes for rapid development and user testing. Works closely with product teams to ensure the Design System components are used and are useful. Works with little or no supervision on the delivery of composable UI elements within the Design System to allow fast development of new product features using reliable, well-tested components. Guides developers to deliver good quality front-end solutions that are in line with UX roadmaps, brand strategy and UI development strategy. Works on a range of clinical and platform applications, including device configuration services, collaborative treatment workflows, automated treatment planning tools, Integrated console and next-generation clinical user interfaces. Excellent technical communication skills, to create and deliver written, graphical, and spoken content tailored for customers, design and research teams, or a small audience Ability to understand and articulate the values that user-centered design brings to business Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team Bachelor's degree in computer science / engineering or equivalent Knowledge base acquired from 4+ years of experience as a developer or equivalent (individual contributor) Strong familiarity with modern web frameworks (Angular/React/Vue) using state management and delivered by large group of engineers (15+) Experience with Nx and mono-repo maintenance is a plus Experience in healthcare IT or a similar highly regulated industry is helpful; knowledge of oncology is a bonus but not expected An understanding of design and aesthetics to enable communication / evangelism of a clear design point of view Understanding enterprise-grade Design Systems Experience with grid systems, style guides, and typography for mobile or web Understanding of User-centered Design principles Appreciation for standards and best practices to ensure high quality code development Must be fluent in the English language (reading, speaking, writing, comprehension)
