Teaching Assistant Level B:

Varndean School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed and outstanding Teaching Assistant (Level B). 24 hours across 4 days a week, term time only. Points 9 to 10 - £27,254 - £27,694, actual starting salary: £16,100

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and dynamic professional to join our well established and highly successful Varndean Learning Centre (VLC). The busy, productive and highly effective VLC department is at the heart of the life of the school; effecting responsive classroom practice and delivering specialist provision across four areas to ensure that all of our students can thrive. As a result Varndean is very popular with families of children with SEND and there will be extensive opportunities for the successful candidate to develop professionally and contribute to the school’s aim to provide a world-class education for all of its students.
