Technology Officer (Training and Systems Support)
Horsham 35,000 + Excellent Benefits Hybrid Working After Probation
Are you a confident communicator who enjoys helping people, sharing knowledge and making technology easier to use?
We're working with an established and highly regarded financial services organisation in Horsham who are looking for a personable, enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join their team.
Despite the job title, this isn't an IT role! It's very much about people, communication and training, helping financial advisers get the most out of the systems and software they use every day.
You'll be working closely with various stakeholders across the UK, providing guidance, delivering training and supporting the introduction of new systems. It's a varied role offering plenty of interaction, opportunities to build relationships and the chance to become a real expert in the systems you're supporting.
What will you be doing?
Delivering engaging, practical training to financial advisers, both face-to-face and remotely
Supporting new firms as they get set up and become familiar with the organisation's software systems
Acting as a friendly and knowledgeable point of contact for software-related questions
Demonstrating systems to prospective new users
Creating and updating user guides and training materials
Assisting with system improvements, testing and upgrades
Supporting occasional data analysis, cleansing and migration projects
Building strong working relationships with advisers and colleagues across the business
What are we looking for?
First and foremost, we're looking for someone who is great with people! You'll be confident explaining information clearly, comfortable presenting to groups and genuinely enjoy helping others learn.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Experience delivering training, presentations or system demonstrations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A friendly, patient and customer-focused approach
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload
Advanced Excel skills and confidence learning new software
A proactive, adaptable attitude and a genuine willingness to learn
Experience within financial services would be a real advantage, particularly if you're familiar with financial products or advisory environments. However, we're equally interested in hearing from candidates with strong training and communication skills who can demonstrate a genuine interest in developing a career within the industry.

Salary: 35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (35 hours per week)
Location: Horsham
Working pattern: Initially office-based, moving to hybrid working following successful completion of a three-month probation period
Additional flexibility around working arrangements may be considered after probation
There will be some UK-wide travel, including Northern Ireland, primarily when supporting new system implementations. This is generally concentrated into approximately three months of the year and may involve occasional overnight stays of up to three days. Outside of these periods, travel requirements are minimal.
What's on offer?
Alongside a competitive salary, you'll enjoy a great range of benefits, including:
23 days' holiday, increasing to 25 days with service, plus the option to purchase up to five additional days
