Morgan McKinley is looking for experienced Engineers to work for a great company based just outside of Horsham, in the Slinfold, West Sussex area. The Workshop Engineer will be ensuring all equipment is inspected, repaired, maintained, fully functional and also thoroughly documented.

Salary: £35K + overtimeHours: 8-5 Mon-Fri. 1 x Saturday a month. Overtime also availableLocation: Slinfold, West Sussex. Own transport required due to the rural locationWorkshop Engineer duties:

  • Inspect all machinery and attachments returned to the depot
  • Conduct checks on all machinery and attachments
  • Ensure equipment meets company standards before leaving the depot
  • Complete major repair work for machines that fail on site
  • Notify the service desk of any defects or damages
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised depot workspace

Skills and experience:

  • Experience of working in a similar Engineer type role
  • Proven experience of inspecting, repairing and maintaining equipment
  • Good communication skills

Salary range

  • £35,000
