What we are looking for:
We are looking for a Class 1 multi drop driver delivering pallets with Urban trailer, occasional Tri axle.
The Role:
Shift - 0800 - 17.30, Monday - Friday. You may be asked to workoutside of these times and be compensated with overtime if agreed prior or early finish on following days when suitable.
As A Class 1 Driver you will be responsible for delivering palletised goods to customers both Pallet Network as well as ours. All deliveries and collections are done using electric pump truck and tail lift unless forklift on site is available. You will be using an EPOD for customers signatures and proof of delivery/collection. Rigorous defect checks and compliance with tachograph rules. Ensuring safety of your load and being proactive when loading and unloading your vehicle with warehouse staff. Occasional Saturday work performing deliveries on a rota basis. You will be driving the same tractor unit and trailer. Ensure vehicle is always kept clean and tidy.
As a driver your role is crucial in the efficient running of the business. Communication with your line manager is paramount to ensure efficient and productive work flow.

Requirements:
Valid Class 1 Licence, Tacho card and Driver CPC.
Clean driving license preferred, no more than 3 points
Experience in multi-drop/ Urban trailer.
Reliability and great time keeping.
Common Sense.
All applicants will be subject to an interview and a trial shift to ensure the role is suitable for both the applicant and the business.
