English Teacher

Reed Education are seeking English Teacher available to start immediately for both long-term and short-term positions. This role is ideal for someone who is experienced in teaching the English curriculum in UK schools and is adept at planning and marking.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes student well-being and learning.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent evenings, and school events as required.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the curriculum and learning experience for students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hold a valid teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or QTLS.
- Proven experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 & KS4).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Must hold a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for a new one.
