Legal Cashier

We are currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Legal Cashier to enhance our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for managing accurate financial transactions.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage client and office accounts, ensuring compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) rules.
• Process payments, receipts, and transfers efficiently.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
• Liaise with clients and colleagues to resolve financial queries.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar finance role within a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of SRA rules and regulations.
• Proficiency in legal accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
