Air Conditioning Engineer

Duties
- Install, service, and repair a wide range of air conditioning units and systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
- Troubleshoot issues using schematics and technical manuals, diagnosing faults accurately.
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to facilitate installation and repair processes.
- Perform equipment repairs, replacements, and upgrades to optimise system performance.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or refurbishments involving air conditioning systems.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for compliance and future reference.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in air conditioning systems and equipment repair.
- Strong understanding of schematics, technical manuals, and system diagrams.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for HVAC equipment within residential, commercial or industrial settings.
- Construction experience related to HVAC installation projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose faults efficiently.
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or HVAC technology.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in fast-paced environments whilst adhering to health and safety regulations.
