General Labourer Required Horsham (8-Week Project)

Duration: 8 Weeks
Rate: £17.50 - £18.00 per hour
We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable General Labourer for an 8-week refurbishment project based in Horsham. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a professional site team on a busy project, with work commencing on 6th July.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of site labouring duties, supporting the site management team and trades throughout the project. A significant part of the role will involve assisting with the strip-out phase, ensuring materials are removed safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organised working environment.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with strip-out and demolition works
- Removal and disposal of waste materials
- Site clearance and maintaining high housekeeping standards
- Loading, unloading and moving materials around site
- Assisting skilled trades and subcontractors as required
- Protecting finished areas and materials
- Following all site health and safety procedures
- Reporting any hazards or issues to site management
- General labouring duties as directed by the site supervisor
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- A valid CSCS Card
- A current DBS Certificate
- Previous experience working on construction or refurbishment projects
- Good understanding of site health and safety
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full PPE
