Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a rapidly growing business in the Henfield area on a permanent basis.
This role is ideal for someone with some prior experience in finance, or for a candidate seeking their first opportunity in the field, as full training will be provided to support the accounts payable department. The position has become available due to business growth.
Your duties will include:
- Inputting supplier invoices onto the system
- Allocating payments in the accounting system to the appropriate codes and ensuring correct codes are used
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Ensuring that invoices are processed and returned promptly to assist good payment performance results
- Contacting suppliers for missing invoices
- Filing and scanning invoices daily
Key requirements:
- Ideally some experience of working within accounts payable
- You must be a car driver due to the location

Salary range
- £28,000 - £31,000
