Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity for the 2026/27 academic year?
Academics is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Eastbourne for a passionate KS2 Teacher to cover a maternity leave from September 2026 until July 2027.

The Role
- Full-time KS2 Class Teacher.
- Maternity cover for the full academic year (September 2026 - July 2027).
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess, monitor and support pupil progress.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.
We Are Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- A positive, enthusiastic and flexible approach to teaching.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A commitment to ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
