<h3>Description</h3>Role:&nbsp;Senior Café and Catering Assistant&nbsp;Salary: Up to £28,039 depending on experience&nbsp;Hours:&nbsp;Full-time&nbsp;&nbsp;Contract:&nbsp;PermanentThe Senior Café and Catering Assistant plays a leading role in our in-house catering team, supporting the work of the Catering Coordinator in delivering an outstanding catering service to our students and staff. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operation and provision of our main College dining room, located at the heart of our large campus just outside Lewes, East Sussex. The dining room provides a 3-meal service for our residential students and is the main hub for our lunch service to students, staff and visitors. Staff in our dining room support with provision at the Graze Café in the new AgriFood building, which is open for HE students, staff, and external visitors. &nbsp;The successful candidate will work with the catering team to ensure high-quality service and a positive customer experience. They will also have opportunities to lead on arranging catering provision for internal meetings, events and functions and providing high quality catering services to our staff, students, and external visitors. Description About The Role We're looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join the Butlin's Buffet Department based in Bognor Regis. Reporting to the Senior Kitchen Manager, you will support the running of the kitchen and support in leading a team of up to 40. Making our guests smile is at the heart of our values, and you will ensure this happens consistently by ensuring that guests remain the central focus of all operational decisions. This will include resource planning, recruitment and selection, ensuring that we have the very best team in place to deliver an amazing service. You will be passionate about exceptional experience and will monitor this regularly to develop action plans in your venue with a focus on continuous improvement. Financial performance will play an important part in your role, and you will deliver food cost budgets through effective menu planning, cooking to standards and specification.
