Employee Relations Advisor (Temporary)

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor for an interim opportunity in Brighton. Join a forward-thinking organisation and contribute significantly during a crucial period of change. This temporary role offers a chance to work within a dynamic HR environment and handle a variety of employee relations matters.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage a caseload of employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance matters.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers across the organisation.
  • Support investigations, hearings, and appeals to ensure fair and consistent handling of all cases.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and align with current employment law.
  • Assist with HR project work and organisational change initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case records for all employee relations activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an Employee Relations Advisor role or similar within HR.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with adept stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritise effectively under pressure.
  • CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Availability to start immediately or at short notice.
