Senior Estimator - Water &amp; Wastewater Location: South East - Hybrid Working Rate: £85K+ Package Contract Type: Permanent About the Role Our client, a leading organisation within the water sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their growing team. This is a key role supporting the delivery of high quality bids, ensuring robust pricing, risk management and strong commercial governance across water and wastewater projects. Key Responsibilities <ul> <li>Provide expert estimating support for bids and contracts, ensuring accuracy, compliance and commercial rigour.</li> <li>Advise the Senior Management Team on commercial risks and influences impacting tender submissions.</li> <li>Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to gather accurate timely cost data and estimates.</li> <li>Ensure supplier/subcontractor terms align with client requirements; assess impacts of any deviations.</li> <li>Prioritise workload effectively and support the estimating team to meet deadlines and business needs.</li> <li>Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders including clients, suppliers and operational teams.</li> <li>Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance performance.</li> </ul> Key Requirements Essential: <ul> <li>Minimum 3 years' experience as a Senior Estimator within the water and wastewater sector.</li> <li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.</li> <li>Proven experience working with water/wastewater pricing, suppliers, and subcontractors.</li> </ul> Desirable: <ul> <li>Degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.</li> <li>Strong commercial acumen with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.</li> </ul> What's on Offer <ul> <li>Competitive rate (DOE).</li> <li>Opportunity to work with a respected organisation within the water industry.</li> <li>Supportive environment with opportunities for process improvement and professional development.</li> </ul>
