The Quality and Admin Co-ordinator in STEM role: Are you looking for an exciting and varied administrative role, working in our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering &amp; Maths) team to support our Lecturers and managers in ensuring our students have a fantastic experience? We have an exciting opportunity as a Quality and Admin Co-ordinator. As a key part of a busy and growing team, you will provide effective administrative support to staff and management as well as supporting in the co-ordination of quality improvement processes to ensure every student has an experience that will ignite their passion in STEM subjects. Key Responsibilities of ourQuality and Admin Co-ordinator in STEM: <ul> <li>Supporting the Head of Learning and Teaching and Learning Manager in the coordination of the department's quality improvement systems and processes; including the production and anaylsis of data and reports and organisation of quality moderation meetings.</li><li>Providing a full range of secretarial and administrative services; receive and prioritise e-mail communications and maintain an efficient electronic filing system so that papers are retrievable at all times.</li><li>Maintaining diaries; make appointments where necessary and ensure that relevant papers for such appointments are available in all formats as required.</li><li>Maintaining a reminder system so that all matters requiring attention are brought forward with relevant information.</li><li>Maintaining a presence within the STEM reception area following a duty rota; to welcome students and visitors, to maintain high standards and to reinforce expectations throughout the building.</li><li>Co-ordinating and analysing all available STEM student data and report on areas where there is an achievement gap &amp; attendance issues.</li><li>Producing and auditing reports required by the STEM Management Team for meetings with staff and Senior managers.</li><li>Sourcing and monitoring all awarding body communications and keep teams up-to-date.</li></ul> Our ideal Quality and Admin Co-ordinator in STEM should have the following skills and experience: <ul> <li>Educated to at least A-Level/NVQ 3 standard or equivalent experience</li><li>Experience analysing and reporting on statistical information</li><li>Experience dealing with confidential data</li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook</li><li>The ability to communicate with a diverse range of people at all levels, verbally and in writing</li></ul> Working in a vibrant and inclusive further education college is an inspiring experience.
