- Develop, implement, and maintain robust health & safety, quality, and environmental management systems.
- Ensure rigorous, ongoing compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 frameworks.
- Manage the internal and external audit programme, encompassing preparation, coordination, and the close-out of findings.
- Monitor and interpret shifts in legislation, industry standards, and tier-one client requirements to update operational procedures.
- Lead the investigation of incidents, near-misses, and non-conformances to deploy effective corrective actions.
- Provide authoritative guidance and training to multidisciplinary site and office-based teams.
- Liaise directly with certification bodies, regulators, and clients regarding compliance and accreditation.
- Prepare detailed KPIs and management information for senior leadership, while supporting tender and pre-qualification submissions.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' proven experience in a Compliance, QHSE, or similar capacity within the drainage, utilities, or construction sectors.
- Systems Knowledge: Strong working proficiency in managing and auditing ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Operational Context: Experience supporting operational teams within live infrastructure environments.
- Communication: Ability to work autonomously, influence stakeholders, and maintain exceptional accuracy in reporting.
- Mobility: Full UK driving licence required.
- Desirable: NEBOSH Diploma, IEMA qualification, or membership with a professional body (e.g., IOSH, CQI).
