Graduate Quantity Surveyor
Fawkes & Reece South are working with a leading main contractor who are seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join one of their busy commercial teams. They are working on a 90m infrastructure scheme on behalf of a local authority. Scope of works on this project has included earthworks, infrastructure works, coastal defences, revetments & drainage etc.
As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining a busy commercial team whilst reporting to a Managing Quantity Surveyor on various commercial duties (but not limited to):
- Accurate monthly forecasting
- Change control management and producing compensation events
- Sending enquiries to subcontractors
- Cashflow forecasts
- Producing and processing formal subcontract documents
- Producing interim and final accounts
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
A degree in a Quantity Surveying subject or equivalent
Understanding of civil engineering or infrastructure projects would be an advantage
Have the right to live and work in the UK
