Stores Assistant Our client, a global engineering leader in their field, currently seeks a Stores Assistant to join their team and assist with general stores duties (i.e. receive, check, distribute goods). Day-to-day activities include: <ul> <li>Receiving goods into the company and adhering to the internal process and procedures of the stores.</li> <li>Ensuring that all materials are booked and stores requisitions are completed on a daily basis.</li> <li>Helping with the transportation of raw materials and finished products between units to the correct location.</li> <li>Picking materials for unit stock lists and external customer requirements &amp; advising all parties of any shortages.</li> <li>Providing counter style service for stores during normal business hours issuing materials for production.</li> </ul> Required Skills: <ul> <li>Previous Stores or Warehouse experience.</li> <li>Forklift licence</li> <li>Able to undertake stores related tasks.</li> <li>Organisation, Numeracy, Literacy and IT skills.</li> <li>Self-motivated with the ability to problem solve in order to finish tasks despite challenges.</li> </ul> A salary of 13 per hour is provided.
