  • Installations & Rewires: Execute full domestic electrical rewires, kitchen/bathroom installations, and domestic heating system installations.

  • Emergency Response: Diagnose and rectify electrical faults swiftly, responding efficiently to emergency situations.

  • Workplace Efficiency: Complete tasks cost-effectively, minimizing non-productive time, and maintaining open lines of communication with Supervisors and Resource Controllers.

  • Compliance & Safety: Strictly adhere to company Health & Safety rules, employing Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and proper PPE at all times.

  • Documentation & Asset Management: Keep clear, accurate records of work (including photos where required) and ensure all tools, plant, and equipment are kept safe, clean, and in top working order.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications & Essentials

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation

  • City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection (or equivalent - Essential)

  • 18th Edition Electrical Regulations (17th Edition knowledge desirable)

  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • A DBS check will be required prior to starting the role.

Experience & Skills

  • 2-5 years of experience working within Social Housing or Building Maintenance environments.

  • Strong Communication: Able to liaise clearly and concisely over the phone with team members and controllers.

  • Tenant Management: Comfortable, polite, and professional when interacting with tenants, including managing sensitive or contentious discussions regarding ongoing repairs.

  • Safety First Mindset: A practical, proactive approach to site safety for yourself, colleagues, and residents.

  • Bonus: An active CSCS card is a distinct advantage.
