Eligibility for membership in the Ontario Professional Planning Institute and the Canadian Institute of Planners. <ul> <li>Must have a valid Driver's license and reliable transportation.</li> <li>Minimum two years related experience.</li> </ul> Proficient in the use of ArcGIS, Microsoft Word, Access and Excel. Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with member municipality staff, local First Nations and external agencies/authorities. Effective problem solving skills, independent decision making, discretion and good judgement. Ability to establish priorities and work schedule to meet tight deadlines to minimize delays. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, judgement and accuracy. A thorough understanding of the Planning Act and other related Provincial and Federal legislation. HOURS OF WORK: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week.
