Shift Maintenance Engineer 40 hours per week - Triple Shift or Permanent Nights (plus overtime) Location: Nr Bognor Regis, Sussex Salary: Dependent on Experience The position s responsibilities are: <ul> <li>Reactive Maintenance on automated production, printing, packaging or finishing machinery</li> <li>Pre-planned Maintenance (PPM) - Input to and carry out preventive maintenance routines</li> <li>Mechanical fault finding</li> <li>Electrical fault finding with and without diagrams (three phase and control systems)</li> <li>Fault finding and repair on hydraulic or pneumatic systems</li> <li>Small installation projects</li> <li>Continuous Improvement to maintain optimal machine efficiency</li> <li>To keep clean any areas in which you are working, including transit areas to and from the workshop, the workshop and stores</li> <li>Support the Operations team in achieving targets</li> <li>Complying to the company s Health and Safety policies and procedures</li> <li>Contributing to cost effective technical solutions</li> <li>Deliver to the operational expectations</li> <li>Be part of a weekend call-out rota</li> </ul> To be successful, we would like you to have: <ul> <li>A recognised industrial Electrical qualification 18th Edition and Level 3 Engineering qualification (City &amp; Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)</li> <li>Have experience working as a Maintenance Engineer or as a dedicated Multiskilled or Electrical Engineer in a Manufacturing environment.</li> <li>Experience in the print, packaging or associated industries would be great but is not essential. But experience in a manufacturing or industrial automation environment is critical.</li> <li>Strong electrical fault-finding skill in particular on PLC s, drives and inverters</li> <li>Excellent fault finding and diagnostic skills</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams</li> <li>Experience with maintenance PPM and RM programmes.</li> <li>Ideally experience working with highly skilled Operators or Technicians.</li> <li>Have good communication, organisational and team work skills.</li> <li>Self motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination.</li> </ul> Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM.
