Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Nursery within Primary School

Location: Hailsham, East Sussex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Salary: £85-£95 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: Wednesday 2nd September

Are you a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to inspire young children at the very start of their learning journey?

We are seeking a passionate Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive school-based nursery in Hailsham. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a nurturing Early Years team, helping children to develop their confidence, curiosity and love of learning in a safe and stimulating environment.

The Role As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will:
  • Support children aged 3-4 years in their learning and development.
  • Deliver high-quality play-based learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Work closely with the class teacher and Early Years team to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Encourage children's independence, communication and social development.
  • Observe and record children's progress, contributing to assessments where appropriate.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
  • Help maintain a safe, happy and stimulating nursery environment.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
  • Holds a Level 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Has experience working with young children in a nursery or school setting.
  • Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Is patient, nurturing and passionate about supporting children's development.
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Is reliable, enthusiastic and committed to helping every child reach their potential.
